Sarah Goldman is a Jewish girl with a problem: her parents want her to marry a nice Jewish man.  But she's already in a relationship with a WASP who happens to be named Chris Cringle.  So for a dinner party, she hires Bob, an aspiring actor, to pose as the man of her mother's dreams: a handsome and charming Jewish doctor.  All seems to go well, until Sarah and Bob start to fall for each other in this delightful, romantic comedy!
